1. What is Barkuterie Shop?

Barkuterie Shop is St. Louis’ premier yappy hour on wheels!  Think of us kind of like the ice cream truck for dogs and cats.  Our mobile pet treat boutique travels across the greater St Louis metropolitan area. We specialize in curated, hand-decorated dog treats sourced from small, women-, veteran-, and LGBTQ-owned pet bakeries across the U.S. 

2. Are your treats safe for dogs?

Yes! Every treat we carry is made specifically for dogs using pet-safe ingredients. We never use chocolate, xylitol, grapes, raisins, or anything harmful. Many of our treats are also made with simple, human-grade ingredients you can feel good about giving your pup.

3. Do you make the treats yourself?

We make all of our yappy hour special treats like sundaes, crunch cups, etc from scratch! For our bulk treats, we partner with small pet bakeries across the U.S. that specialize in dog and cat treats. Our role is to curate and decorate collections, package them beautifully, and bring them to you in our mobile shop or through our retail partners.

4. Can cats enjoy Barkuterie treats too?

Absolutely!  We carry cat-specific treats as well as a selection of treats that are universal for dogs and cats.  

5. Where can I shop Barkuterie treats?

You can:

  • Visit our mobile Barkuterie Shop Yappy Hour On Wheels at local events and markets.  Our events are published on our website and across our social media presence. 
  • Find us at our retail partners across the St Louis region.  We are always looking for new opportunities, so hit us up at barkuterieshop@gmail.com if you are interested to host us.
  • Order directly through our website for local delivery or porch pickup.

6. Do you deliver?

Yes! We offer local delivery in the St. Louis area. Delivery days and times may vary based on location and event schedules. There is a delivery fee associated with the order depending on the destination.  We also ship select treats nationwide.

7. Do you offer custom orders?

Absolutely! We love creating treats for birthdays, gotcha days, weddings, corporate events, block parties, and more. We make Barkuterie boxes (think charcuterie) as well as specialty confections for pups.  Contact us to discuss your pup’s (or kitty's) special day.

8. How should I store the treats?

Our treats stay happiest in a cool, dry spot under 72°F. No need to refrigerate. Keep sealed tight for tail-wagging freshness!

9. Do you host events or pop-ups?

Yes! We are available for pop-ups at markets, food truck gardens, sports events, and even private parties. You can also reserve a private booking of our Yappy Hour on Wheels for neighborhood block parties, corporate events, customer appreciation events or birthday celebrations.

10. How can I keep up with where the cart will be?

11. Do you support local businesses?

Yes! We collaborate with small businesses as that is at the heart of Barkuterie Shop. 

12. Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because our products are perishable, we cannot accept returns. If you’re ever unhappy with your order, please contact us. We’ll always do our best to make it right.
